A short description of myself:
I am currently a Director at Google, focusing on AI/ML for personalization.
Before that, I was leading the Algorithms Engineering team at Netflix: a team of researchers and engineers at Netflix building the next generation of Machine Learning algorithms used to drive and optimize the entire Netflix experience. From enabling storytellers around the world to create unique content that's enjoyed by members, to how and what we recommend on the Netflix homepage, personalize the user experience or the way we reach out to members, or Machine Learning algorithms to optimize our infrastructure & systems.
Between 2011 and 2014, I was working as a Lead R&D Engineer at BBC Research & Development, primarily working on Machine Learning and Semantic Web technologies for extracting meaning out of the BBC archive.
Between 2008 and 2011, I was working as a Principal Software Engineer on BBC Programmes. Before October 2008, I was a PhD student in the Centre for Digital Music, Queen Mary, University of London. My thesis deals with ontology-based knowledge management for music information retrieval systems.
I graduated in 2005 from the ENST (Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications), Paris, France.
